About Joshua Brain Jaffe

I am a Technological Creative working at the intersection of design, development, education, and evangelism. And yes, my middle name is legally Brain... best typo ever.

I have forged an unorthodox path into creative technology, bringing over three decades of experience across various industries. My work spans a wide range of specialities, from branding, merchandising, print layout, and game design to web development and prototyping. I've applied my skills in several industries including music, fashion, print, and gaming before transitioning into advertising, where I've delivered work that balances aesthetic appeal with thoughtful execution.

After learning to code at General Assembly over a decade ago, I began my development career at Critical Mass, quickly specializing in prototyping and creative technology. After moving to California, I worked at Apple for six years, primarily focusing on low-tech solutions that provide high-fidelity results. Over time, my work has incorporated more emerging technologies like AR, XR, and AI.

My career has been defined by establishing a robust prototyping philosophy. Throughout my journey, I have collaborated with a variety of major clients across several sectors from automotive, technology, CPG, and others.

Now based in London, I continue to blend design and technology, always striving to create thoughtful, customer-focused experiences.

I'm also a game designer, musician, cyclist, urbanist, tattoo aficionado, husband, father, and I'm pretty decent with a yo-yo.
